中非经贸报讯:4月16日,中非贸促会会长、中非友谊基金会主席秦金玮一行到访坦桑尼亚达累斯萨拉姆大学参观访问,同大学副校长进行了友好会谈。双方就联合办学设立职业技术学院,教职工、学生国际交流;应届毕业生实习、就业安排;成立助学奖学金:利用校舍太阳能发电等事宜进行了磋商,达成了框架合作意向。

达累斯萨拉姆大学现有7个校内学院(Campus College),分别涉及工程技术、信息与通信技术、自然与应用科学、人文学科、社会科学、农学与食品科技和医疗卫生;7个学院(School),分别为商学院、经济学院、教育学院、法学院、新闻传播学院、水产渔业技术学院和矿业地学学院。学校还有7个研究所(Institute),即发展研究所、斯瓦希里语研究所、资源评估研究所、海洋科学研究所、孔子学院、性别研究所和矿产资源研究所,其中孔子学院由浙江师范大学与该校合作设立。此外,学校还设有气候变化研究中心等十余个研究中心,位于商学院的中国研究中心是东非首个专门研究中国和中非关系的学术机构。

达累斯萨拉姆大学还有2个成员学院。其一是2005年9月由原达累斯萨拉姆师范学院升级而成的教育学院(DUCE),其二是由原姆夸瓦中学升级改造而来的姆夸瓦教育学院。两所学院的重点是为中学培训教师,以满足坦桑尼亚小学教育发展计划(PEDP)和中学教育发展计划(SEDP)的需要。

The school also has 7 research institutes, including the Development Research Institute, Swahili Language Research Institute, Resource Assessment Research Institute, Marine Science Research Institute, Confucius Institute, Gender Research Institute, and Mineral Resources Research Institute. Among them, the Confucius Institute was established in cooperation with Zhejiang Normal University. In addition, the school also has more than ten research centers, including the Climate Change Research Center. The China Research Center located in the Business School is the first academic institution in East Africa dedicated to studying China and China Africa relations.

Dar es Salaam University also has two member colleges. One is the Education Institute (DUCE), which was upgraded from the original Dar es Salaam Teachers College in September 2005, and the other is the Mkwawa Education Institute, which was upgraded from the original Mkwawa Middle School. The focus of the two colleges is to train teachers for secondary schools to meet the needs of the Tanzania Primary Education Development Plan (PEDP) and the Secondary Education Development Plan (SEDP).
